Psalm 31:4-5

Free me from the trap that is set for me, for you are my refuge, into your hands I commit my spirit; redeem me, O Lord, the God of truth.

We are well aware of the many traps the enemy has placed in our life and the lives of our loved ones. Sometimes we are alert enough to see them before walking into them; sometimes we are made aware after the fact and the bait has already been taken. He will continue to be relentless in his efforts, so we must be relentless in being alert to his schemes. Placing our lives in the Father’s hands along with staying in the Word will go a long way in keeping us alert to those traps by promptings from the Holy Spirit.

I pray prodigals are turning back to God and, recognizing the traps of the enemy, are finding a refuge in Him. Praying also that the truth of God’s Word and the prompting of the Holy Spirit are leading them along in victory.
