Day 237

Galatians 2:20-21 NLT

My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die.

Living a Christ-like life on a daily basis is difficult at best. Without crucifying self and allowing Christ to actually live through me, it won’t be accomplished.

Have I treated the grace of God as meaningless? GRACE – it’s a hard concept to understand; that’s why it’s by faith I must trust that Christ giving His life is enough.

I pray the prodigal will grasp the concept of grace; that they will not treat it lightly. A huge price was paid for their freedom. As the prodigal steps out in faith, may they live in the strength of Christ who is within them.
